Survivorship Symposium

On Friday, March 1, 2024, the Cancer Survivorship Symposium brought together researchers, clinicians and other healthcare professionals interested in improving outcomes for cancer survivors and implementing best practice models to optimize patient outcomes. This symposium introduced a team-based cancer survivorship model and explored facilitators and barriers to implementation. The keynote presentation was delivered by  Dr. Catherine Alfano, vice president of Cancer Care Management and Research at the Northwell Health Cancer Institute.
