Cancer-Focused Research
At present my lab is focused on use of micromanipulation and imaging to analyze physical properties of chromatin in normal and cancer cells, large-scale chromosome structure, and on use of single-DNA methods to study activities of DNA-acting enzymes including nucleosome assembly, disassembly and positioning factors, SMC complexes, topoisomerases, site-specific recombinases, and DNA-bending and looping proteins.
