Cancer-Focused Research
The recent genome-wide sequencing analysis have identified a series of novel somatic genetic alterations in patients with relevance to pathogenesis, prognostication, and therapy. Notably, these include mutations in genes with known or putative roles in the epigenetic regulation of gene transcription. My research interest is understanding these abnormal genetic and epigenetic events in tumorigenesis, identifying potential therapeutic targets, and establishing novel cancer therapy.
