Cancer-Focused Research
My mission is to improve the health of children with cancer through the clinical application of adoptive cellular therapies, excellent clinical care, and translational research. My clinical work focuses on blood and marrow transplantation (BMT) and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy for patients with relapsed and refractory leukemia. My research interests are centered on understanding and optimally preventing and managing the severe toxicities of CAR T-cell therapy.
