Cancer-Focused Research
Our laboratory research is directed along two main avenues: Firstly, we are dedicated to characterizing the mechanisms underlying the activation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) associated with cancer, with the aim of quantifying their activation and modulation processes. Secondly, we quantify the biophysical attributes of the nucleolus, exploring how these properties undergo modifications within cancer cells and how they respond to small-molecule therapies. Our research aims to shed light on critical aspects of cancer biology and advance our understanding of potential novel therapeutic interventions.
