Lurie Cancer Center’s AYA Oncology Program is proud of our partnership with Teen Cancer America (TCA). Their support is enabling us to expand our efforts, providing specialized services focused on key standards of AYA care for young people at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
We are also a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), an alliance of 27 leading cancer centers dedicated to improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of cancer care so that patients can live better lives. NCCN’s Guidelines for Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer, provide state-of-the-art information to help AYAs make informed decisions and talk with their healthcare teams about the best treatment options.
